What is Bates numbering?
Bates numbering is a sequential identifier stamped on every page of a document set, typically PREFIX000001, PREFIX000002, and so on. It is standard in legal discovery to track and reference specific pages of evidence, contracts, and exhibits.
How it works
The tool reads your PDF in the browser, draws Bates numbers on each page using pdf-lib, and downloads the result. Your file is never uploaded.
